About the hotel

This beautiful, comfortable, family run hotel is situated in a peaceful setting with its own garden for residents use. One of the very few in the area with a large, free, private off-road car park.

Situated in the desirable west end of Folkestone overlooking Trinity Gardens and the picturesque Trinity Church, we are only a brief stroll from the town centre and the Leas promenade, yet the Channel Tunnel and Dover ferries are only 10 or 15 minutes away by car, making it ideal for anyone en route to the continent. Built in the 1890s as a gentleman's residence, this fine example of a Victorian house, updated and modernised over the years, still retains much of its original charm. Evening meals are available in our licenced restaurant. Meals are all cooked to order to suit your individual taste; therefore prebooking is essential to ensure that your selection can be met. We also have a residents' bar and private garden for the comfort and convenience of our guests. We offer a warm welcome to all visitors, whether staying for a short break or looking for longer term residence, whilst working in the area.

All older children or adults are charged GBP 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Cancellations

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 30.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

We offer a variety of breakfasts to suit all tastes from fruit juice, cereals and toast to a delicious full English cooked breakfast or continental, all accompanied by a pot of freshly made tea or coffee. If you have a very early start, a tray breakfast of orange juice, croissants, jam and marmalade can be arranged.

Evening meals - we have a licensed restaurant for residents, where we can supply a wide variety of home cooked evening meals. Pre-booking on the day prior to arrival is required to ensure that your needs can be met. One or 2-course meals, lighter snacks and children's portions can also be arranged. Please advise us if you have any special dietary needs.

Hotel Map

Directions by road: Follow the m20 to the Channel Tunnel. Turn off at Junction 13, a20 to Folkestone. This is Cherry Garden Avenue. As you approach the second set of traffic lights stay in the centre lane and drive straight across the lights. Follow the road for about 1 kilometre to a right hand turning posted up to sign a259 Sandgate/Hastings, turn here into Earls Avenue. Take the second turning left, this is Bouverie Road West. The hotel is 200 metres on your right.
